What?
Blended learning is the combination of traditional face-to-face instruction with online learning activities and resources, allowing for a flexible and personalised learning experience that integrates technology into the classroom.
How?
Flipped classroom. Students study instructional materials, such as videos or readings, at home before coming to class. Class time is then used for interactive activities, discussions, and application of knowledge, with the teacher providing guidance and support.
Station rotation. Students rotate through different learning stations, which can include online activities, small group work, independent tasks, or direct instruction with the teacher, allowing for individualised learning experiences and targeted instruction.
Online discussions and collaborative projects. Students engage in virtual discussions, share ideas, and work together on projects using digital tools and platforms, promoting active participation, collaboration, and the development of digital skills.
