What?

Peer coaching is an activity where students work in pairs or small groups to provide coaching and support to each other, promoting a growth mindset, encouraging risk-taking, and helping students develop their own learning strategies.

How?

Step 1. Introduce peer coaching. Explain to students what peer coaching is and how it works. Encourage them to be open to receiving feedback from their peers and to be supportive of each other's learning.

Step 2. Establish roles. Assign specific roles to students, such as coach and coachee, and provide clear guidelines on how to provide feedback. Demonstrate the peer coaching process to students by modeling how to give and receive feedback.

Step 3. Monitor and support. Monitor the process and provide support as needed. Encourage students to reflect on their learning and to set goals for improvement. Provide opportunities for students to share their successes and challenges with the class.
